Why I Dedicated My Career to Women Veterans
Many women veterans leave the military with years of leadership, operations, HR, logistics, training, and project management experience. But when they enter the civilian job market, they often feel misunderstood.
They apply to jobs and hear nothing back. They struggle to explain their experience in a way recruiters understand. They begin to wonder if they are qualified, when the truth is, their value is simply not being translated clearly.
I know this because I have lived it, and I have studied it from both sides.
I became a career coach for women veterans because I saw how often military talent was undervalued in corporate America—not because veterans lacked experience, but because their value was not being translated in a way employers understood.
I help women translate their military experience into civilian career language, clarify the roles that fit their life and goals, and confidently communicate their value to employers so they can stop feeling overlooked and start pursuing careers where their leadership, experience, and story are recognized.
