redefine

You served, led, adapted, and carried responsibility most civilian employers may not fully understand yet. Now it is time to translate your military experience into a clear civilian career strategy, targeted resume, optimized LinkedIn profile, and confident interview plan.

You Have the Experience — But Civilian Employers May Not Understand It Yet

Whether you are transitioning from military service, already separated, or feeling stuck in a civilian role that no longer fits, you do not have to figure out your next career move alone.

I help women veterans identify aligned civilian roles, translate their military experience, communicate their value, and pursue careers that fit their skills, family, values, and future goals.

You may be applying to jobs and hearing nothing back.

You may know you are capable, but your resume still sounds too military.

You may be unsure which civilian roles match your leadership, operations, HR, logistics, training, or program management experience.

You may be successful on paper, but deep down you know your next career move needs to align better with your life, values, and who you are becoming.

That does not mean you are behind.

It means your experience needs to be translated, positioned, and connected to the right civilian opportunities.

Targeting civilian roles that match your skills, experience, values, and long-term goals

Many women veterans leave the military with years of leadership, operations, HR, logistics, training, and project management experience.

But when they enter the civilian job market, they often feel misunderstood.

They apply to jobs and hear nothing back.

They struggle to explain their experience in a way recruiters understand.

They begin to wonder if they are qualified, when the truth is, their value is simply not being translated clearly.

I know this because I have lived it, and I have studied it from both sides.

In 2019, I knew I needed to better understand corporate America so I could help veterans find careers where they felt valued and aligned. Through my work and learning with companies like Cisco and Red Hat, I saw the gap clearly.

Veterans were not lacking experience.

Employers were lacking understanding.

I became a career coach for women veterans because I saw how often military talent was undervalued in corporate America not because veterans lacked experience, but because their value was not being translated in a way employers understood.

I help women translate their military experience into civilian career language, clarify the roles that fit their life and goals, and confidently communicate their value to employers.

So they can stop feeling overlooked and start pursuing careers where their leadership, experience, and story are recognized.
